Connecting Health Communities initiative supports VCSE organisations and local systems to work together to reduce health inequalities and to engage with complexity and achieve change.
NHS England recognises that voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations (or VCSEs) play an essential role in local health and care systems. There are clear expectations that VCSE organisations should be involved in both ICS governance structures and in delivery. However, navigating how to do partnership working can be tough.
Join our webinar to hear about the initiative, learning from the previous work on how to build and sustain effective partnerships; and hear from Steering Group members, Amanda and Mebrak, sharing their cross-sector partnership’s journey on improving access to cancer screening in Eastbourne, East Sussex.
This webinar will be interesting for colleagues working at place or system level with a focus on reducing health inequalities through cross-sector partnerships. These include those working within Integrated Care Systems, policy professionals in NHS England and Improvement, Local authority colleagues, Public Health colleagues local Voluntary, community and social enterprise groups and organisations, and community leaders.
