Wirral Borough Council Public Health is hosting a workshop to bring together partners committed to combating fuel poverty
Today, more households face the stark reality of fuel poverty, where rising energy costs and inadequate home insulation make it difficult to keep warm during colder months.
In March 2024, a group of community leaders, experts, officers and concerned residents created a comprehensive plan with short, medium and long-term goals to combat fuel poverty in Wirral. Although some initiatives are already underway, significant work remains to advance the remaining objectives effectively.
With this in mind, Wirral borough council would like to invite all people interested in working to eliminate fuel poverty to attend their workshop next Monday, which will feature a panel of local experts, representatives from the VCSF and council leaders.
Date: 11th November 2024
Time: 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Location: Floral Pavilion Theatre
