BBC's Make a Difference Awards nominations now open

Nominations are officially open for the 2025 Make a Difference Awards. The yearly initiative provides an opportunity to acknowledge and honour individuals who enhance the lives of others in their communities.

Previously hosted by BBC local radio stations throughout England, the awards will now, for the first time, cover the entire UK, with nominations also available in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

A panel of judges will select the winners and awards will be presented in each category for every national and local BBC radio station. The categories include "The Volunteer Award", "The Fundraiser Award" and "The Community Group Award", among others.

To submit a nomination for an individual or group in your local community, go to the link below and follow the instructions. The deadline for nominations is 5pm on Monday 31st March 2025.
